Terms of Use

Agreement

By downloading or using Reforma, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

What Reforma is

Reforma is a personal Pilates practice journal, studio finder, and learning library. It is provided as-is for personal, non-commercial use. Using Reforma requires signing in with Apple, Google, or an email address so your practice can be backed up and restored on another device.

Your data

Your sessions, pledge, and preferences are stored on your device and synced to our servers so you can restore your journey on a new device. We collect certain anonymous usage data for analytics and app improvement. Photos are stored on your device only. You are responsible for the device and its data. Deleting the app removes the on-device data; Reset Journey in the You tab removes the on-device data including photos; Delete Account in Settings removes the cloud-synced data. See our Privacy Policy for the full breakdown of what we store and where.

Accounts

Reforma requires an account. You sign in using Sign in with Apple, Sign in with Google, or an email address and password. By signing in, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and that the information you provide is accurate. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account, which permanently removes your cloud-synced data. We may suspend or terminate accounts that are used to abuse the service, violate these terms, or infringe on others’ rights.

Studio information

Studio listings are provided by Apple MapKit and may not be complete or accurate. Reforma does not verify studio details such as hours, pricing, or class availability. Always confirm directly with the studio. Reviews of studios written by Reforma users are also displayed on the studio detail page in the app and on the public web directory at reformaco.com/studios; see “Reviews and user content” below for the rules around writing them.

Reviews and user content

Reforma lets you write reviews of Pilates studios you've visited (a star rating, optionally with text). Reviews are public, attributed to your first name (or “Reforma user” if you haven't set one), and displayed on the relevant studio page in the app and on reformaco.com/studios.

You own what you write. You retain ownership of any review content you submit. By submitting a review, you grant Reforma a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to host, display, translate, and distribute that content as part of the Reforma service (in the app, on reformaco.com, in social-media previews, and similar). The license ends when you delete the review or your account, except for cached or backup copies that may persist briefly until our systems clear them.

You are responsible for what you write. Reforma is a hosting platform, not a publisher. You — not Reforma — are the author of your reviews and are legally responsible for them. You confirm that every review you submit:

  • Reflects your own genuine experience at the studio. Reviews of places you haven't visited are prohibited.
  • Does not contain defamatory, harassing, threatening, hateful, or illegal content.
  • Does not include personal information about other people (phone numbers, home addresses, identifying details about staff or other clients).
  • Does not violate any third party's rights, including intellectual-property or privacy rights.
  • Complies with our Community Guidelines.

Eligibility. To write a review, you must have a verified email on your Reforma account, an account at least one hour old, and at least one logged Pilates session in the past 7 days, and you may not have already reviewed the studio in question. We hold 1-3 star reviews briefly (target 72 hours) for moderation against the rules above before publishing them; 4-5 star reviews publish immediately. The full eligibility and moderation logic is described in the Community Guidelines.

Editing and deletion. You can edit or delete your own reviews at any time from the studio detail page in the Reforma app. Editing a 4-5 star review down to 1-3 routes it back through moderation. Deleting a review immediately removes its content (text and rating) from public view; we retain an empty record so the “one review per studio per person” rule cannot be bypassed by delete-and-repost. See our Privacy Policy for the technical details on soft-deletion.

Flagging and takedown.Anyone can flag a published review through the app. We review flagged content against the Community Guidelines and either remove the review (if it crosses a line) or dismiss the flag (if the review is honest criticism, even if negative). We target 72-hour turnaround. Studio owners can flag the same way users can; we treat owner flags on the same merits as any other flag and do not remove negative reviews simply because they're negative. Honest reviews about real visits are protected and stay published.

Notice and takedown for legal claims. If you believe a review violates your legal rights (defamation, intellectual property, privacy), email moderation@reformaco.com with the URL of the review, the specific text at issue, and the legal basis for your claim. We will review and respond within 72 hours. We may forward the takedown notice to the review's author. Frivolous takedown attempts may be referred to our counsel.

Our role. Reforma operates the platform, enforces these terms and the Community Guidelines, and removes content that violates them. Reforma does not endorse or verify the accuracy of individual reviews and is not liable for the views expressed in them. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law (including Section 230 of the U.S. Communications Decency Act and analogous limitations in other jurisdictions), Reforma acts as a hosting intermediary for user-generated content.

Health disclaimer

Reforma is not a medical or fitness advisory service. The move tutorials and articles are for educational purposes only. Consult a qualified instructor or healthcare provider before beginning any exercise program. Use the app at your own risk.

Intellectual property

The Reforma name, logo, design, and original content are the property of Reforma. Move tutorial videos are embedded from YouTube and are the property of their respective creators.

No warranty

Reforma is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Reforma and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
